Return Policy

We provide the option of a full NO QUESTIONS ASKED refund within 30 days of delivery.

 

This returns policy is limited to a) all items where the diamond is priced below £25,000 excluding VAT (items above this threshold subject to refund within 14 days of delivery) b) items that have not been customized from their original. Please contact us to discuss this further, as management has the ability to waive these limitations on a case by case basis. In the unlikely event that the goods turn out to be faulty, damaged or different from those the customer ordered, 5ine Jewels will make good the item free of charge or refund the item in full.

 

Returns of orders will be confirmed only where you have returned the item in an acceptable condition, and together with its packaging and certificate. Non-return of the certificate will be charged at £130 for a replacement certificate. Please note that clients will need to bear the costs of shipment and insurance for the returns. The cost will vary depending on the country where the item is dispatched from as well as the value of the item.

 

Should the client not like their jewellery, we would be happy to remount the diamond (where one or more were selected) in a design of their choice, without charge, save for any additional metal, diamonds or labor required and a nominal £50 administration and processing charge.

 

All returns are subject to verification and authentication by the 5ine Jewels team. Purchased items with any element of personalisation, engraving, bespoke items, designs by or for the client, may be considered for return and refund on a case by case basis. For Health and Safety reasons, earrings will not be considered for return. For security reasons we recommend that you do not use the name 5ine Jewels anywhere on the packaging of your returned item because it includes the term “Jewels”. For further information or any questions on how to return, we request you to contact your 5ine Jewels Customer Services representative who will provide you with instruction.

 

All Ring and Jewellery sizes and measurements are approximate but we endeavour to ensure that the sizes and measurements are accurate). Once you have received the ring and are able to determine the correct size, you can send it back to us for a free first re-size. However if you requested a specific ring size with your initial order and this turns out to be incorrect, the second re-sizing will be charged at our standard rate of £45 which covers the cost of laser re sizing for a better quality finish and added strength. All ring prices and specifications are based on a UK size L-M diamond Colour G, diamond clarity SI1 / SI2). Ring widths are measured at the widest point of the ring.

 

5ine Jewels merchandise has a lifetime warranty guaranteed against defects in manufacturing and workmanship. This warranty does not apply to items subjected to excessive wear, abuse or physical damage whether accidental or otherwise. Upon acceptance of delivery, insurance and protection of merchandise becomes the sole responsibility of the customer and 5ine Jewels shall not be held liable for any loss, theft or resulting damages that may subsequently occur.

 

If the purchased jewellery has been in any way tampered with or altered by the customer, another jeweler or any other third party, the lifetime warranty and the return policy will cease to apply, and the item becomes non-refundable and non-returnable.


Right to Withdraw


Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order with us at any time within 30 days of receiving your goods. In the event we are unable to deliver your order within our standard delivery timescales you are entitled to cancel your order with no penalty.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (5ine Jewels) 108b, 960 Capability Green, Luton LU1 3PE, tel: +44 203-086-8629 or email: info@5inejewels.com of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, or e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Should you cancel the contract we will then refund you the price you have paid for the goods, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arsing if you chose a type of delivery other than offered by us). We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later 5 working days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
